About This Course

The use of abrasive wheels carries significant risks including wheel bursting, which can cause serious injury or death. Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, only trained and competent persons may mount abrasive wheels.

Our Abrasive Wheels programme covers the legal requirements, the properties of different wheel types, the hazards involved, and the correct procedures for selecting, inspecting, mounting, and using abrasive wheels safely.

Both theoretical instruction and practical demonstration are included, making this course suitable for anyone who uses angle grinders, bench grinders, or other abrasive wheel equipment.
