Entry procedures, hazard identification, atmospheric testing, and emergency response for confined space work.
Confined space work is one of the most hazardous activities carried out in Irish workplaces. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 require that adequate arrangements are in place before anyone enters a confined space.
Our Confined Spaces training programme covers the identification of confined spaces, the hazards that may be present, and the control measures required to manage entry safely. Participants learn how to carry out a risk assessment, develop a safe system of work, and respond to a confined space emergency.
The course is suitable for workers in construction, utilities, water treatment, agriculture, shipping, and any other sector where confined space entry is required.
Workers who enter confined spaces, supervisors responsible for confined space operations, safety officers, and emergency response personnel.
