About This Course

Banksmen play a critical safety role on construction sites by guiding cranes, excavators, and other plant during movements that the operator cannot see clearly. All banksmen must be trained and hold a valid CSCS card.

Our CSCS Banksman programme covers the responsibilities of the banksman, standard hand signals for plant guidance, communication procedures, and the hazards associated with working in close proximity to moving plant.

The course prepares participants for the CSCS banksman assessment and is suitable for both new and experienced construction workers.
